Third Mainland Bridge
A Nigerian man, Akinrodoye Dare, swam the entire length of the Third Mainland Bridge in two hours and 33 minutes, covering a total distance of 11.8 km.

Coach Akinrodoye, on Saturday, swam the length to raise awareness about swimming against suicide and depression.

In the video, the presence of a standby floating clinic was observed to prevent hazards.

β€œI’m going to be swimming the entire length of the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge to raise awareness and sensitize the public on mental health, suicide, and depression.

β€œI have over a decade of experience in the aquatic realm, and swimming means I can do anything and become anything I want with it.

β€œMental health is a cause I’m passionate about, and life can be very tough. I think it’s okay to ask for help. Your life can change positively within the blink of an eye; stay alive to witness it.”
